Sweets and Treats
There's nothing like a sweet treat from Angel's Heavenly Delights. Everything she bakes is my favorite, it's so hard to choose just one!

Saturday Finds
During the summer months, I would always make it a point to go out on Saturday mornings, on a quest for a nice shot, or a nice find (is what I call them). One can always find something to photograph during the summer months, but I used to feel that the winter months was something like a vacation, although I didn't want a vacation from photography, long story short: during my visit to the city yesterday, I came upon a art studio, whereas the owner was working on a piece. This artist, Layne Jackson, took a break from her canvas to speak with me and explained some of her visions and creations in her studio. Let me tell you this, I was in awe!!! I love nothing more than a woman doing her thang, and enjoying it! I enjoyed speaking with her and she has some great pieces. High five, Layne!!
Across the street from Layne Jackson studio is a fire department. What grabbed my attention as I walked across the street, was the size of station. I noticed there was someone near the door, which I could see through the window. My thinking was, once I crossed the street I would ask if I could take a look around, but before I could complete my path, the fire station door opened, and I got excited thinking here's my chance, but the lights, and siren quickly followed. There goes my opportunity! Any who the point I was going to make is that size, does not always matter...

The "LOVE" Story, part II
As the Love's anxiously awaited arrival of their new baby boy, the days snailed by for LaKedra.
Then I got the phone call, "the baby is coming and LaKedra is screaming her off head off". I'm like oh wow!! I came to visit on the next day, and LaKedra and Ken was waiting on the baby to return to the room from check -ups and such. LaKedra said "I would Love to go home today". There was an empty bed next to her, so I started to tie the sheets together, so she could make a clean get away (she was busting out of the hospital, where did I get this idea from?). Ken, thought we should wait for the nurses to return to see what the outcome was, before we went my route. Everything was a go, and they packed up to go home with their new addition.
When the baby returned to the room, the Love's eyes lit up. My eyes went full circle from Kyle, to Lakedra, to Ken. I wouldn"t dare let a tear drop from my eyes, but if I could have I would have. Kyle is so precious and beautiful!!
I was so excited to visit for Kyle's shoot and to hold him, but Kyle was not feeling it, in the beginning.
So, I had to remind him of our agreement, that he made with me. After agreeing to shoot his best side, and to display some of his interests and talents, he would then cooperate, and he did just that....
He likes to read, but it makes him fall asleep!!
He kept up his part of the bargain, and I thanked him as he quietly drifted off to dreamland, for being so cute, is hard work!
I, would like to thank the Loves', for allowing me to capture their special moments, and to share their special gift.

The "LOVE" Story, part I
This Love story is about the making of "Kyle". Kyle, will be Ken and LaKedra's first child together. I was just excited about the arrival of Kyle as they were, because they are the perfect couple, just too cute! As I watched and listened to them , you could see the Love between them, so I knew their baby would be showered with Love. Did I mention cute too, oh yeah cute too!
Well, there was a lot of preparation for their bundle, and then there was the baby shower, and the story progresses...

And it went a little something like this... |
