Recently, we we had a stint of cool weather, which was comparable to the F word (FALL). I wasn't ready to give up on summer, as if it was ever here. My faith was renewed, when I came across the Sun Warriors. Summer does exist.
The consequences of being pretty!

Sounds of Summer
As I sat, and listened to the sounds of summer, the sound of running water rang clearly. A fairly warm day, but there were no kids playing in the waterfall. I watched as the water drops, hit the ground and burst into a million of particles, on the weather worn concrete. I approached the waterfall, but felt no urge, to allow it to spray my hands with a slight mist. I then walked away to explore a different sound. The notorious water fountain, of which flowed continuously, with no interruptions for thirst, or just kids play. Simplicity.

No Sun, No Problem!
I once thought, that if it rained, the day was lost. I constantly hear, that bad weather days, are great days to capture great shots. After a storm, I went out on the pier, and the clouds were intermingling with one another, of varies colors, shapes and sizes.
DuSable Museum Arts Festival
There was a two - day event, at the DuSable Museum, arts festival. There were singers, dancers, the sun, and color galore. I, negated to go on the first day of the festival, due to rain. The following day was gorgeous with a beautiful sun, beaming down.

4th of July Parade
The 4th of July brings a lot of excitement and crowds to the neighborhood. I gained a seat, under the shade and waited for the display of colors, and amusements. This was my first occasion, as being a spectator of a parade. I learned, I have to shoot quickly, get there early, and get comfortable.

365 Project
I have committed myself to doing a 365 Project, whereas I take a photo a day. These photos will consist of activities in my daily life. They are taken with either my cellphone, or dslr. It has been very inspiring thus far. It has allowed me to see things differently, as far as my daily life. One would be surprised, at how many interesting things are happening around you, within your home, on your way to work. I have found myself going out in -10 degree weather ( 3 minutes tops) to capture what my day is like...it is like a diary at some point, and it teaches me to hone in on my skills...and the saga continues!
More snow!
No parking chair. The chair is suppose to keep your parking space on a city street, because you may have shoveled the space (so wrong, on so many levels).
The air was crisp, and the chair stood out, highlighted by mutated street light.
This day started out just like any other day at the office, donuts, coffee. Then the fire alarm goes off and I'm thinking, is this a fire drill? As I grab my camera, then my coat...in that order. No biggie, minor deal, nothing on fire. Everyone back to work!
Carpenter's hand. Sitting, having coffee and I noticed hands that appeared to be stained and he was dressed as if he had been outside working. He told me he was a carpenter and he didn't have to the chance to clean-up yet. In the hands of ...
Don't let the blue skies fool you!
It was minus degrees out, but it was bright and plenty of snow.
City nights
Preoccupied!
One of our coldest day yet!
I thought these were great numbers for the lottery
FEBRUARY is snow month
More snow!
But the weather is nice enough to enjoy a short walk, and may be a little play.
January 1st, snow blizzard!
